THUNDER BAY – With store shelves almost empty, it appears Lowe’s may be leaving Thunder Bay a little sooner than planned.

The company, which is closing 34 stores across six provinces, had initially said it plan to shut its doors at Intercity Shopping Centre on Jan. 31.

But a source tells tbnewsatch.com the company has pushed that date ahead five days, and instead will close the store on Jan. 26.

The company opened at the location in August 2016.
