Police are searching for a man who robbed a Mac’s convenience store in the city’s north end.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers say the man entered the store on Red River Road just before 4 a.m. on Saturday. The man fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes and headed towards Picton Avenue on foot. Police say a weapon wasn’t seen during the incident and no one was hurt.
Police describe the man as of Aboriginal decent, between the ages of 30 to 40, pimpled faced wearing a navy blue hoddie and a backwards ball cap.
