Mac's robbed twice

Two south-side Mac’s Convenience Stores were robbed overnight. In the first incident, the suspect entered the company’s Arthur Street location, produced a knife and demanded money from the register.

Two south-side Mac’s Convenience Stores were robbed overnight.

In the first incident, the suspect entered the company’s Arthur Street location, produced a knife and demanded money from the register. The employee complied and the suspect fled.

The suspect is described as standing between 5-foot-10 and six feet tall and weighing about 190 pounds. The suspect was wearing a red and white Reebok sweater with a hoodie, white cloth mask, dark pants and black gloves.

The second robbery took place at the company’s South James Street store when a man walked in and demanded cash.

The suspect in this incident is described as standing between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9, weighing about 160 pounds and was wearing a dark ski-style jacket with grey markings on the sleeves and on the back, a dark hoodie, baseball hat and jeans.
