THUNDER BAY – A malware incident has rendered information technology service unavailable.

The Thunder Bay school, in a tweet sent early Sunday morning, said they first learned of the problem on Saturday morning and initiated a response process, noting most services remained functional during the day.

Since then, they have become completely unavailable.

“We expect to recover services over the next week, but our expert’s investigation will be thorough and will likely not be complete for some time. We are sorry this has occurred and thank you for your patience. We will be able to communicate more in the future,” the school said in a second tweet.

The school advises its Facebook and Twitter pages will be the college's official communications channels until further notice.
