THUNDER BAY — A man is in custody charged with two counts of robbery and wearing a disguise with intent to commit a crime.
Thunder Bay Police arrested him Tuesday in connection with incidents last month, in which a business on Simpson Street was robbed twice in the span of a few days.
On May 15, a person with his face covered entered the business, brandished a knife towards an employee, and demanded money.
Two days later, police were called to the same location after a man who appeared similar to the individual involved in the first incident re-entered the establishment and demanded money.
The TBPS break and enter and robbery unit began an investigation that led to a suspect being identified and located.
The 43-year-old appeared in court Wednesday and was remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
