Kenora police charged a man in connection to a violent robbery that happened Sunday night.
OPP received a complaint about a robbery just before 11 p.m. in the area of Lakeview Drive. Police say that a man was socializing with three other men when they assaulted and robbed him. The man received minor injuries and taken to the Lake of The Woods District Hospital for treatment.
Police were later able to charge a 33-year-old –man with robbery with violence.
The man is in custody and expecting to appear in court in Kenora sometime Monday.
The investigation is ongoing.
