GULL BAY FIRST NATION, Ont. -- A 25-year-old Armstrong man remains in custody after an alleged serious assault on Gull Bay First Nation.
Provincial police officers from the OPP's Armstrong detachment and Gull Bay were alerted to the incident just after 10 p.m. Monday night, according to a news release issued Tuesday morning.
The victim was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre by ambulance with injuries that described as being not life threatening.
The suspect has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and failing to comply with an undertaking. He was held in custody for a video court appearance.
