Trafficking charges for Dryden resident after OPP seize drugs, cash

DRYDEN, Ont. – A 43-year-old Dryden woman is facing trafficking charges after police executed a late-night search Thursday.

According to an Ontario Provincial Police release, police executed a search warrant on Thursday around 1:26 a.m. at a residence in Dryden.

As a result of the investigation, police seized approximately 57.25 grams of cocaine, one hydromorphone tablet, 31.27 grams of methamphetamine, eight morphine tablets, Canadian currency and drug related paraphernalia.

A 43-year-old Dryden woman has been charged with possession of schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine, possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking - other drugs, possession of schedule 1 substance – other drugs, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000, procures to make an identity document and making forged documents.

The accused is held in custody and appeared in Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday.
