Man charged following charity box theft

City police have charged a man following the theft of a charity donation box.

City police have charged a man following the theft of a charity donation box.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the 32-year-old Thunder Bay man has been charged with theft under $5,000 for the theft of the Alzheimer's donation box, which was taken from the North Cumberland Husky gas bar on May 30.

The accused turned himself to the police on the June 2.

He has been released with a court date in July.
