Police charged a 46-year-old Thunder Bay man with assault with a weapon following a stabbing that took place early Saturday morning.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to a call around 1:43 a.m. about an incident near George Street and Simpson Street. Police arrested the man shortly after arriving. Paramedics took a man and woman to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for what police believe were stab wounds.
They have since been released.
Police say all three individuals knew each other.
The 46-year-old-man appeared in court Saturday.
