Man charged in two-vehicle collision that sent one person to hospital

One woman was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision on Monday.

THUNDER BAY – One woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries following a Monday afternoon rollover on the city’s south side.

Thunder Bay Police Service responded to a two-vehicle collision on Waterloo Street near Neebing River bridge on Monday just after 4:30 p.m.

According to police, a pregnant woman in her mid-20s was driving northbound on Waterloo when she collided with a Jeep turning off Cumming Street. The force of the crash caused her car to roll over three times.

The woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries as a precautionary measure.

Police have charged an 80-year-old man with failing to yield.
