THUNDER BAY — Thunder Bay Police have charged a man for allegedly spitting on an officer.
The incident occurred Saturday night after a disturbance at a south-side hotel.
Police say they responded to a report of a fight between a man who was being evicted and another guest at an Arthur Street hotel just before 11:00 p..m.
After officers arrived to investigate, one of them was spat on.
His alleged assailant was charged with assaulting a peace officer.
