The Thunder Bay Police Service is crediting local media readers for providing tips that led to the arrest of a man suspected of robbing a Mac's at gunpoint in broad daylight.
"The circulation of the robbery footage generated a lot of good tips," a police release reads.
The 22-year-old man is suspected of pulling a gun on a clerk at the Brown Street convenience store just before 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The yet-to-be-named suspect will face a charge of having committed a robbery with a firearm.
The clerk and two store patrons present at the time of the robbery were not injured.
