Man charged for robbery with screwdriver

Thunder Bay Police responded to a robbery Wednesday night on Prince Arthur Boulevard.

THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay Police have charged a 35-year-old man with robbery after an incident late Wednesday evening.

The incident took place on Prince Arthur Boulevard near Dease Street around 7:30 p.m. when a female walking in the area was grabbed from behind by a man who held a screw driver to her chest and demanded money and her cell phone.

After taking her money and cellphone, the man fled the scene but was arrested soon after.

The female victim was not injured.
