Police arrested a Thunder Bay man Thursday and charged him with a number of offences including possessing child pornography.
The 33-year-old suspect, who is a former resident of Marathon, was arrested following an investigation by the Marathon detachment of the OPP, OPP North West region crime Unit and the OPP child exploitation section.
Police arrested the man on Thursday. He now faces two counts of sexual interference, two counts of sexual exploitation, possessing child pornography, indecent act, possession of property obtained by crime and failure to attend court.
The accused man is being held in custody at the Thunder Bay district jail and is expected to appear in court on Thursday, Nov. 25.
Police say they have not released the name of the suspect in an effort to protect the identity of the victim.
