ATIKOKAN, Ont. -- An evening complaint has resulted in an impaired driving charge.
According to an Ontario Provincial Police release, officers received a complaint on Monday just before 8 p.m. of an impaired driver on Highway 11.
Police say officers located the described vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
The officer made a demand for an approved screening device breath sample. The driver failed and was placed under arrest.
He was taken to the Atikokan detachment for further tests.
A 46-year-old man has been charged with operation while impaired-alcohol.
He was released to appear in court in Atikokan on July 15.
