THUNDER BAY — A man walking in the city's north core while carrying a large concealed knife was arrested on outstanding warrants.
Thunder Bay police said officers in the service's break and enter and robbery unit noticed the man in the 200 block of Pearl Street on Wednesday night.
Police said the man ran as officers approached.
The suspect was eventually apprehended and arrested after a brief struggle.
The accused, a 38-year-old Thunder Bay, is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, resisting a peace officer, and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused appeared in court on Thursday and remains in custody with a future appearance date.
