Police are looking for three suspects after a man was assaulted on the city’s South side Sunday morning.
A 33-year-old man told police he was walking on Arthur Street when he was attacked by three men. They demanded money and when he refused, he was pushed to the ground and punched. One suspect pulled a knife and demanded money again. The man was able to run to a phone and call police at around 3:30 a.m.
The three men are described as 5’7, 180 lbs. Wearing dark clothing. All three men had their faces covered with bandanas. The man was taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and later released.
