Kenora OPP continue to search for a missing Florida man in Obabikon Bay.
Police say Bill Amason disappeared on Saturday evening, after taking his boat out on the lake. When he did not return as expected, his family began to search. They located his boat drifting near the area and then found his clothes on a nearby rock.
Police suggested it appears his boat may have drifted away while Amason was on shore and he attempted to swim after it.
The Kenora OPP marine unit was called in and remains on scene searching the area for the missing man, who was a seasonal resident of Morson, Ont.
The OPP underwater search and rescue unit is en route to the Lake of the Woods and is expected to arrive on Tuesday to assist with the search.
