Man robs store with stick

Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a convenience store with a stick on Sunday. Thunder Bay Police Service officers say they responded to a call at the Mac’s convenience store on May Street around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a convenience store with a stick on Sunday.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers say they responded to a call at the Mac’s convenience store on May Street around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police say a lone man armed with a stick entered the store and took a small amount of money and cigarettes.

There were no reported injuries as a result of the robbery.

Police describe suspect as being an Aboriginal man standing about five-feet-11 inches. The suspect wore a black leather jacket with a picture of a bulldog on the back, the word bulldog printed on the sleeve with red and white stripes on it.

The suspect also wore a black bandana with white writing on it.
