Not much activity to report on the new home construction front in Thunder Bay last month.
Officials with Canada Mortgage and Housing say there was just one new single detached start recorded in March in this area.
That compares with four starts in March of 2010.
It brings overall starts for the year up to eight, which is down from the 11 recorded at this time last year.
It also represents a slight decline from the city's five-year average for this time of the season, which is 9.2 units.
