About 200 young people from area First Nations are in Thunder Bay this week taking part in the Matawa Youth Summit.
The theme of this year's event is looking to the future 10 and 20years from now. It includes career fairs, workshops and a banquet. Youth Coordinator Ryan Gagnon said it gives the youth an opportunity to learn about different fields and trades before they enter the work force.
The summit runs until Thursday. Wednesday's agenda includes presentations on mining, policing, and making music.
