Mayor to host COVID-19 virtual town hall

THUNDER BAY – Mayor Bill Mauro will host a virtual town hall about COVID-19 on Tuesday night.

Mauro will be joined by Dr. Janet DeMille, medical officer of health at the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

The public is being invited to submit questions they want answered by the mayor or DeMille by noon on Tuesday.

Questions will also be taken live on the phone and through an online chat on the city's website. The phone number will be made public on Tuesday.

Following the town hall, all questions and answers will be compiled and posted to the city’s COVID-19 page on the city’s website.

The one-hour town hall will begin at 7 p.m.
