THUNDER BAY – The city is cleaning up after a Thursday night snowfall gave us our first taste of the winter season.

But that cleanup wont’ take long.

The snow accumulation was fairly modest within the City of Thunder Bay, compared to what some winter storms are known to bring, and warm temperatures this weekend are certain to eliminate any snow that did manage to stick to the ground.

According to Environment Canada, this city can expect highs of 9 C both Saturday and Sunday.

The remainder of the long-range forecast sees daytime highs as low as 6 C and as high as 9 C for the rest of the week.
