Surveillance video of the crime at the Apple Credit Union was recently released, and on Thursday evening the Thunder Bay Police Service received a tip about the getaway car that may have been used by the suspect.

The car is described as a newer model silver or grey Pontiac Montana minivan. It was last spotted heading west on Clark Street.

Meanwhile, OPP officers in Thunder Bay arrested a 29-year-old Osnaburg First Nations man on a number of weapons and drug related charges.

Police found the man in his vehicle at Hillcrest Park on High Street Thursday.

Inside the car, authorities discovered 100 Oxycodone pills, 283 Percocet pills and about $6,500 in cash.

The street value of the seized drugs is estimated to be $16,000. Officers also seized a rifle, ammunition and a machete.
