MISHKEEGOGAMANG FIRST NATION, Ont. — A Mishkeegogamang First Nation man is in custody on a charge of aggravated assault after an incident in the community on Saturday.
OPP were contacted by Nishnawbe-Aski Police service because of an assault at a local residence at about 7 a.m.
The victim was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested 32-year-old Jerry Fox.
He has been remanded into custody until his next court date.
