THUNDER BAY -- A body found near the Strathcona Golf Course last week has been identified as that of a 67-year-old man who had been missing for more than a month.
In a Wednesday morning media release, the Thunder Bay Police Service said the body of John Boczkowski was found near a walking trail close to the Current River golf course on Nov. 7.
The death is not deemed suspicious, police said.
Boczkowski had been declared missing by police on Oct. 11, having been last seen at his Red River Road residence the previous day.
