Missing man's vehicle recovered, police turn to public for help

(KENORA, ON) –The Ontario Provincial Police is continuing to request the public’s assistance in determining the whereabouts of a 25-year-old male, Kean LUO, who uses the name of Chris.

(KENORA, ON) –The Ontario Provincial Police is continuing to request the public’s assistance in determining the whereabouts of a 25-year-old male, Kean LUO, who uses the name of Chris. 

LUO was last seen on in the evening of Saturday April 2, 2016, in the Kenora area.

LUO’s vehicle was recovered on the Sgt. Thomas Cooper Memorial Bridge on Highway 17a in Kenora on April 2, 2016 a short time after Mr.LUO was last seen. 

The OPP and the Winnipeg Police Service are continuing to work together on this investigation and the OPP Northwest Region Crime Unit has recently taken the lead due to investigative developments.

The OPP have conducted land, water and air searches for LUO in the area where his vehicle was recovered and the investigation is continuing

LUO is described as Malaysian, 5’9”, 150 pounds with short black hair, brown eyes and glasses.  His clothing description is unknown at this time.
