Mississauga man busted for impaired driving in Kenora

(KENORA, ON)  Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a 26 year old man for an Impaired Driving offence.

On December 8, 2016 at approximately 1:00 am, members of the Kenora OPP conducted a vehicle stop on Highway 17a near Highway 671 in the City of Kenora. 

Police determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and he was arrested at the scene.  He was transported to the detachment for further tests.

As a result of the investigation, a 26-year-old Mississauga man has been charged with Driving with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code (CC).

He is to appear in Kenora Court on January 12, 2017 to answer to the charges.
