MNRF seeking Kenora-area illegal dumpers

Officials from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry are seeking the public’s assistance to track down the individuals responsible for dumping garbage on Crown land north of Kenora.

Officials from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry are seeking the public’s assistance to track down the individuals responsible for dumping garbage on Crown land north of Kenora.

In a release issued on Thursday, MNRF officials say they discovered a demolished truck camper and household garbage left at the back end of the Fifth Lake seed orchard off English River Road. It’s believed the material was left behind in the past three or four months.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the MNRF tip line at 1-877-847-7667 during regular business hours, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
