It is almost time to strap on your skates and head down to an outdoor rink.
Workers have begun flooding the surface to make ice.
City of Thunder Bay parks manager Paul Fayrick says they should be officially open and supervised on the Dec. 18, with the exception of the new ice surface at Marina Park.
That rink is expected to open on Dec. 16.
