TORONTO -- An Osnaburgh First Nation mother and son are $250,000 richer after winning an Instant Hit It Big jackpot.

Josie and Christopher Masakeyash collected their winnings recently at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Prize Centre in Toronto and said they couldn't believe their luck.

"When we saw the matching numbers, my heart was pounding," Josie said in a release issued on Tuesday by OLGC.

They plan to buy a new truck and invest the rest.

"I'm so happy. Something like this never happens," Christopher said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Casuals Convenience Store on Patricia Avenue in Pickle Lake.
