A 60-year-old man has been charged with making an unsafe turn after a serious crash Friday afternoon on the city’s south side.
Thunder Bay Police Service officials say that at around 11:30 a.m. a truck was turning at the intersection of James and Walsh Streets, when a motorcycle slid into the truck.
Police say they believe the driver of the motorcyclist had the right of way.
The 52-year-old rider was sent to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where he was treated for minor injuries.
