Motorcycle with sidecar and pickup truck collide

City police are investigating a crash involving a motorcycle with a sidecar and a pickup truck. Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the crash took place Friday at about 3:30 p.m. at the corner of McIntyre and Court Streets.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the crash took place Friday at about 3:30 p.m. at the corner of McIntyre and Court Streets.

Police say the pickup truck was heading west on McIntyre and stopped at the posted stop sign on Court Street. The driver then drove into the intersection and was struck on the driver’s side by the motorcycle, which was heading north on Court Street.

The 43-year-old man driving the motorcycle was taken to the hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the truck was unharmed.

The 58-year-old male driver of the truck has been charged with failing to yield right of way.
