Motorcyclist sent to hospital after crash with pickup truck

A 60-year-old man was sent to the hospital after a motorcycle crash on Syndicate Avenue. Thunder Bay Police Service officers and paramedics responded to the crash, which also involved a pickup truck, just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.

A 60-year-old man was sent to the hospital after a motorcycle crash on Syndicate Avenue.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers and paramedics responded to the crash, which also involved a pickup truck, just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Police at the scene say the motorcycle driver was taken by paramedics to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with non-life threatening injuries.

Police spoke with the 57-year-old driver of the truck who later left the scene.

Police directed traffic and closed off a portion of Syndicate Avenue between Arthur Street and Ridgeway Street as the investigation and cleanup continued.

The investigation is ongoing.
