SHUNIAH, Ont. — Ontario Provincial Police say no one was seriously injured in an incident on Highway 11/17 just east of Thunder Bay on Monday evening.
A motorist, however, has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with failing to turn out to avoid a collision.
OPP said a truck operated by a 37-year-old man brushed up against two cyclists who were travelling on the highway just west of the intersection with Lakeshore Drive.
Emergency services responded.
One westbound lane of the Trans-Canada Highway was blocked until police cleared the scene.
