The man charged with second-degree murder in the death of a another man on May Street last week appeared in court Thursday.
Shawn Joseph Henderson, 35, was present at the Ontario Court of Justice through video conferencing.
Travis Cutfeet, 30, who is also known as Travis Beardy, was found stabbed on the sidewalk on May Street last Wednesday afternoon.
Despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Henderson was arrested about five hours later at a residence on East Victoria Avenue.
Police say the two men were known to each other.
Henderson will be remanded into custody until his next video appearance on June 5.
