Winning a vintage sports car would be a dream come true for some people.

But that dream will become a reality for one lucky ticket holder later this year. The Thunder Bay Museum is once again holding their classic car raffle.

The draw is held every two years, and the latest prize is a 1980 Chevrolet Corvette, along with $1,000 worth of free gas. Tickets are available at the Superstore all this week.

There are more than 8,000 tickets being sold, and raffle chair Tina Bucknell says they usually sell out within four to five weeks. All money raised goes directly to the museum, for lectures, construction, and general operations.

Bucknell says the goal is to raise $50,000 this year.

Tickets are also available at the museum and at other locations throughout the city. The draw will be held Sept. 5 at the museum.
