THUNDER BAY – The Muskeg Express has returned to service at Centennial Park after it shut down due to engine trouble last Friday.

The city advised Wednesday the mini train was running again after an engine part was delivered from outside Thunder Bay.

The express returned to service this year after operational issues kept it largely off the tracks since 2017.

The train operates Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through the Labour Day weekend, with rides typically starting every 15 to 20 minutes.

Children five and under ride free, those aged six to 12 pay a dollar, while adult tickets are $2.50.
