THUNDER BAY – A man accused of jumping naked into a shark tank at Toronto’s Ripley’s Aquarium has been arrested by local police, according to multiple reports.

David Weaver, a 37-year-old Nelson, B.C. man, was also wanted for an alleged assault outside Medieval Times, a Toronto restaurant, after being kicked out of the restaurant last Friday night by staff, shortly before his daring swim took place.

He is accused of returning to the restaurant, where he allegedly kicked in two glass doors.

City News Toronto reports Toronto police are working with the OPP to arrange Weaver’s transfer back to the GTA, where he’s expected to face a number of charges, including assault causing bodily harm, and mischief interfering with property.
