Nasty collision

City police have charged the 23-year-old driver of a pickup truck following a morning crash on Oliver Road and Hill Street Tuesday. The crash was reported to the Thunder Bay Police Service at about 8:45 a.m.

City police have charged the 23-year-old driver of a pickup truck following a morning crash on Oliver Road and Hill Street Tuesday.

The crash was reported to the Thunder Bay Police Service at about 8:45 a.m. Police say the white Ford pickup truck was heading Northbound on Hill Street and failed to stop for the posted stop sign.

The truck came into collision with a silver sedan, which was driven by a 44-year-old man. The car was heading westbound on Oliver Road at the time of the crash.

The driver of the car was taken to the THunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where he was treated for minor injuries.
