Navy League Cadets showcase achievements

The Navy League Cadets showcased their accomplishments this past year to friends and family.

THUNDER BAY – The Navy League Cadets had the opportunity to showcase their accomplishments this past year to friends and family on May 30.

The Annual Inspection was held on board HMCS Griffon where the cadets parade each week.

The Cadets, aged 9 to 12 were also recognized for their achievements within the corps as well as their community involvement.

“It’s an excellent opportunity for kids to learn seamanship, teamwork, leadership and respect,” said Lt. Laura Zaina, Commanding Officer of NLCC Thunder.
