Nearly 40 charges laid following OPP bouncer blitz

Police are targeting bouncers in the second security blitz in less than four months.

Police are targeting bouncers in the second security blitz in less than four months.

Officials with the OPP say 38 charges were laid on Friday when police officers from the force’s anti-rackets unit and the province's security enforcement unit cracked down on unlicensed security guards, improper uniforms, and not registering to employ in house security.

People facing charges will be due in court starting Jan. 27.
