Tuesday afternoon marked the last day of the current version of the Neebing Fire Hall.
The building, located on 20th Side Road, faced demolition crews as the building was taken down to prepare the site for the rebuilt hall, which is scheduled to be operational by mid-2014.
The majority of the work involved demolishing the roofs and walls, followed by a cleanup of the scene.
A temporary firefighters’ shelter has been located at the North Neebing Community Centre, where fire crews will operate out of until the new hall is constructed at the site of the old building.
