THUNDER BAY — The Ministry of Transportation wishes to advise that Highway 61 will be closed between Arthur Street and Harbour Expressway for several short term (15 minute) closures between 10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, until 6 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10.
These closures are necessary for normal operations for the construction of the bridge and are required to ensure the safety of the travelling public and workers.
We apologize for the inconvenience and urge motorists to schedule their travel to minimize any delays. Motorists are reminded to obey and follow all traffic signage for the safety of both workers and drivers.
