New at-large candidates step forward

THUNDER BAY -- A founder of the city’s Blues Festival and the Miles with the Giant Marathon has announced his intention to run for city council. Barry Streib on Friday declared he will seek an At-Large seat in the October municipal election.

THUNDER BAY -- A founder of the city’s Blues Festival and the Miles with the Giant Marathon has announced his intention to run for city council. 

Barry Streib on Friday declared he will seek an At-Large seat in the October municipal election. 

Streib, who recently retired, is also the former director of communications for TBaytel. 

He will become the 10th person to enter the At-Large race. 

Naomi Abotossaway and Wolfgang Schoor are also recent candidates who have put their name forward.
