A Thunder Bay man is facing 13 additional charges in relation to allegations of a series of underage sexual assaults.
Forty-six-year-old Jeff Paxton was charged last month with 10 criminal code offences after victims came forward alleging they had been sexually assaulted by the former bible-camp counsellor.
A total of 11 victims have come forward.
Police say the alleged victims range in age from seven to 14 when the assaults are said to have occured.
The charges stem from incidents that occurred between 1983 and 2004, during which time Paxton served as a counsellor at Round Lake Bible camp, was involved with local churches, acted as a babysitter and ran the Great Northwest Coffee Company.
Paxton is not in custody and is set to next appear in court on Wednesday.
The 13 new charges against Paxton include:
- Sexual assault, two counts x 2 (Sec. 246.1 C.C.)
- Gross indecency, eight counts
- Invitation to sexual touching, three counts
