Confederation College’s next president will likely be named next month.
President of the college’s board of governors, Marilyn Gouthro, said the post-secondary school has identified a short list of candidates for the role that is now held by Pat Lang.
“We are in the process, over the next week to 10 days, of going through a series of interviews with these candidates and we are still on target,” Gouthro said.
“I would say we are close to the final stages, we have a long journey ahead of us … but we’re exactly where we want to be at this point.”
She added that they hope to be ready to name the next president by the end of next month. Pat Lang officially steps down as the college’s president in July.
