New COVID case documented in Dryden and Red Lake area

Case is the 47th confirmed in the Northwestern Health Unit's catchment area.

DRYDEN – A new case of COVID-19 has been documented in the Dryden and, Red Lake area.

The Northwestern Health Unit said follow-up on the person’s contacts has begun and anyone identified will be directly contacted.

The NWHU did not provide any further information on the nature of the case, including the gender or age of the person, saying only it will be posted to the Ontario COVID data website when it becomes available.

There have been 47 cases reported by the NWHU, all but the current active one having been resolved.
