In an effort to enhance its tourism and recreation, the township of Nipigon is embarking on a new branding and community signage program.
Nipigon Mayor Richard Harvey said the town rebranding will also help the town keep up with the changing economic and social realities of today.
Harvey added that he's excited about who is leading the project.
“Dave Koski Designs brings a lot of expertise, he is incredibly well respected for the work he does,” Harvey said. “(He’s recognized) for not only the work he’s done throughout the region, but for the work he’s done throughout the world.
“The exciting thing that’s very interesting about Dave (Koski) is that he is born and raised in Nipigon.”
Harvey said Koski will be co-ordinating the work over the next year.
